Lightman Investment Management is an independent investment management company specialising in European equities. Founded in 2019, and based in London, Lightman manage the assets of a UK domiciled OEIC and a Luxembourg domiciled SICAV. With a small, highly focussed team, Lightman provide high levels of customer service, with a focus on relationship management and a transparent all-inclusive charging structure.
Previously using disparate systems to manage client and vendor engagement, Lightman required a single system to manage both areas of the business. To ensure a complete 360 degree view of their client base across different types of clients and domiciles, and tracking of vendor accounts and invoices, Lightman has chosen Salesforce and Adapt IQ to implement a solution that delivers this initiative.
With Salesforce Sales Cloud, Lightman now has a platform that delivers a uniform engagement view of their clients, enabling them to see their client’s value, and track communications with the aid of an Outlook Integration. This supports the tracking of engagement with their clients, in a more efficient and intuitive manner. This not only allows the management team more insight into activities, but also contextually supports the ongoing relationship management of their clients.
Vendor Management played a key role in this implementation. Lightman are now able to manage their vendors and invoices in a more structured manner, including the ability to manage hierarchical accounts, at each level, and at an overall level.
Finally, a comprehensive reporting suite was delivered, providing Lightman with the ability to make informed data driven decisions.
It was clear from the project's inception that Lightman Investment Partners had a good understanding of their Salesforce platform with a direct and succinct requirement. Working alongside their IT team we successfully implemented Mailchimp within a day to minimise any disruption to ongoing communications and migrated their contacts list quickly and easily.
